 A year and a half ago, THR3EFOLD launched with the purpose of helping brands grow while providing jobs, education, and well-being to those in need. After a year of pop up shops, photo shoots, marketing campaigns, and seminars, we have learned a lot and have had the pleasure of helping some wonderful brands expand. However, skimming off the top of our profits in order to “give back” just didn’t sit well with us, because it didn’t feel like enough. In fact, it felt like nothing. So this summer our founder, Jessica Kelly, embarked on a research trip to India to make connections, learn about the global supply chain, and ultimately fine tune an idea she originally had at the conception of THR3EFOLD that was put on hold due to its rather grandiose vision. Moving forward, THR3EFOLD will be focused on one basic mission. Help brands run responsibly so companies can sell consciously. To get started we have our sights set on the global supply chain and how difficult it is to navigate as a small-medium sized brand. To fix this, THR3EFOLD is building a responsible manufacturing platform to enable any brand to produce their product ethically. We see a future where the fashion industry has a 100% ethical supply chain.  Think of us as your map to the factories that work at the highest standards, seeking to provide jobs, education, and value to people in desperate situations. We will even have factories for specific causes your brand cares about. Does your brand seek to bring employment to artisans in remote tribal villages? We’ve got you. Does your brand deeply care about rescuing women out of sex trafficking and putting an end to modern day slavery? We’ve got you too. You see, fashion is the largest labored industry on the planet and produces nearly all of it’s goods in the populations with the poorest individuals. We choose to see this as an opportunity, because we believe this perfectly aligns fashion to be the catalyst to end poverty rather than the cause that sustains it. But we cannot do this alone.
